In 1989, a program commenced that aimed to involve all students in competitive sport whilst continuing to teach them academically and spiritually. The houses have been an important part of the school’s history as it brings a competitive side to the many sports which we participate in, whilst at the same time giving students personal goals which they strive to achieve. Our houses are represented and named after the significant people who have donated their time and money to contribute to the school’s fantastic culture of education. We in turn have commemorated those that helped us in the beginning years of the foundations of this school by naming our house teams after them.
Originally, it started with eight houses in our history of school, but through time it was reduced to six, and then finally concluded in the present day where we have only four. This allowed the students to make different friends from numerous age groups and to give students an easier view of their friendly competition.
