House History |
|
Something we have started in 1989 is a program to involve the students in competitive sport whilst teaching the student academically and spiritually. The houses have been an important part of the schools history to bring a competitive side to the many sports which we participate in whilst at the same time giving students goals which they strive to achieve. Our houses also represent different people who have donated their time and money to contribute to this schools fantastic culture of education. We in turn have commemorated those that helped us in the beginning years of the foundations of this school by naming our house teams after them. You will find out what brilliant groups of people we brought together to make great teams. We have had eight houses in our history of school but in time have been reduced to six then reduced to four to allow students to make more friends and to give students an easier view of their friendly competition.
They include:
WOOD
Compassion: Mrs Michelle Hutchinson
Tony Wood, late, foundation board member
ROSSITER

This house is named after Arthur Rossiter. A part of the first board of directors who committed their time and money to make the school what it is today. He brought the value of service to this school showing us to be selfless towards christ. It is currently being managed by Mr Greg Harland who is a sport teacher at Georges River Grammar school.
