An important aspect of the tradition and culture of Georges River Grammar is the schools participation in Inter-House competitions. Participants from all years represent their House, striving for NASSA and representative honors in Athletics, Swimming and Cross Country. Georges River Grammar has a strong House Sport Competition where all students get involved and encourage school spirit.
There are four Houses in both the junior school and senior school.
Students enjoy these sporting events as each event is supported by costumed themes and House cheering led by the Captains of each House. House Spirit is equally as important as competitive points. Inter-House competitions encourage our outstanding athletes to begin the road to representative level, cheered on by their peers, while also inviting everyone in the School to have a go, be active and admire determination, no matter the result.
